Hi Anna,

Yes, there generally are settings to turn on the firewall for your
router. I know mine (not Linksys) came with the firewall disabled.
Check your documentation for accessing the setup for your router.
You might have to type an IP address into your browser to get into
it, so look for that. For example, I have to use http://192.168.2.1/ to
get to the login screen.
