Usually I just copy the whole ICQ folder to another drive, reformat,
reinstall everyting ( incl. ICQ), and then copy back over the new install.
Never had a problem.

for a freeware program called ICQ backup. I have never tried it though.

I use ICQ. How do I save the user settings and contact list to restore
them after win format and reinstall?
