Philippe,

To bring up a Windows Explorer, click Start - Run and type explorer, press
enter.

To create a shortcut that does this, e.g. on the desktop, right-click
Desktop, choose New - Shortcut. A wizard appears; type explorer and complete
the wizard. The shortcut can now be moved to any menu, e.g. to the Quick
Launch bar or to the Start menu.
