===============
CGI, Perl, Javascript and VBScript are script languages which can be
embedded into an HTML document to enhance the capabilities of the HTML.
HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the primary language in which internet
pages are written. It is necessary.
The script languages are not necessary. Look at them like a stereo in a new
car. Not necessary, but nice. They simply enable "special functions" that
are not included in HTML.
