Windows 95 will run -- slowly, but run -- on a 386. The OS itself
doesn't use floating point for anything; some specific applications
may require it.
There is a rumour that Windows 98 includes code that uses a new
instruction introduced in the 486, so it will not run on 386 CPUs.
Should run on a 486SX just fine, though -- first I've ever heard of
an SX2....
