I get a report from Mcafee that I have two unwanted programs in my
windows\system32 file. They are proxy-oss.dll and

I have done a chat with a Mcafee tech twice. They tell me to run in safe mode,
do a scan and delete the file. I have done that and it says they cannot be
deleted. I have quarantined the files multiple times and tried to delete them
there and they still return.

1. What are they and should they be removed? How?

2. Since I have Viruscan constantly updating how did they get in?

Also, I am getting constant messages that Mcafee found a virus netsky.d.eml!exe
in a temp file (Temp\McV271.tmp). It says it was deleted, so I assume there is
no problem, but I can not find a description of the virus or what problems it
causes.

3. Other than keeping my antivirus program up to date and not opening
attachments, is there anything else I should be doing to be safe? What about
downloading programs? Should I assume that anything unwanted will be caught by
my AV program that should be?

Thanks so much for your assistance in advance.
