Hello,

Wondering if anyone knows a workaround for installing a version of
Win'98 that came with my laptop. I am a bit aggravated as it is a
legitimate copy but won't install on a system that already has an OS
(I used partition magic and created a partition for it and hid the
other primary partition but it still "see's " it. and tells me I need
the Win'98 'upgrade' CD.

There must be something in there (ie scanreg.exe) that is responsible
for this (can't rename or delete scanreg.....I tried...maybe someone
else knows)

Grateful for any suggestions.
