I'm running IE5.0 quite handily on a 486/25 notebook with 20M ram, and 20
megs HD free space left.  (The antique hard drive is only 120 megs!)  So I
would think that 4.0 would work on your system.  I'm also running EI 4.0 on
a 486/100 with 32 megs ram. Your mileage may vary.
