  You're almost right.

  The correct command is
    copy file.prn prn:   (to default printer)
  or
    copy file.prn lptx:  (where x is 1,2 or 3)

  But (!) you must enable "Print from DOS" or something like that
in your Printer preferences. If you don't, you will get only
one line of print or nothing at all.
  And one more "!". The .prn files can be printed only on the printer
they were created for. Printing LaserJet doc. on Epson LX-100 simply
won't work, at least.
