 Open Internet Explorer, Click on Tools, in the Toolbar, Choose Internet
Options from the drop down menu. Click on the Advanced tab, then scroll down
until, under Browser, you see  Show Internet Explorer on the Desktop. That
should do it for you. Hope that helps.
