We had this same problem with Genicom printers when printing 1up labels.
The cure was in the lines per inch setting of the printer.  We took the
Genicoms off line nearly a year ago, so I don't remember the exact
setting that cured this problem.  I seem to remember 9,  but I am not
sure.
