They way I tell (if/when) mine got corrupted is to navigate to the following directory:
C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files
It is a "special type" Windows System Directory (and "might" be hidden by default).
There is a column called "Status" that tells you if it is "Installed", "Damaged",
and possibly other "scenarios"...
