System is Win98, FIC 503+, AMD 450, 64 MEgs RAM
A friend purchased this printer and it will not Print in Word (Stops after
one or two lines). In IE 5.5 it printed once, but in Landscape orientation
when Normal was selected.
I downloaded a new driver, which didn't seem to help.
USB is installed, and shows OK in device manager.
I got a couple of lockups which showd a Kernel32 and a GDI.exe error.
Test page prints OK.
When the USB plug is removed and reconnected, the system redetects and tries
to reinstall.
I had to reboot to remove documents from the print Queue.
Does anybody have any idea what is wrong here?
