Software not being compatible with an operating system would not mess with
the system unless you are using that software at the time. If you are playing
the 3d frog games and you have problems that would be a problem with
incompatible software. What you are probably running into is running too many
different programs at one time without enough ram. With WinME they require I
believe 64 MB but works better if you use 128 or even 256 Mb's. If you
purchase more ram for it (and RAM is CHEAP right now) that would solve a lot
of problems for you.
