Lori,
And to all of the others out there reading this:
Earl Truss, in his post on the subject of the ZIP DRIVE replacing the
CDROM drive letter is absolutely correct. Win9x gives a person the
chance to override a default feature that is a legacy of MSDOS.
To those who may not ever think about it, a zip drive will always be
assigned a drive letter that is before a CDROM drive by default (this is
the way DOS and Win3.1x worked). And without thinking about it, if you
'add' a zip drive to your system, you will find the drive letter for
your CDROM will have changed.
But Win9x allows you to override this legacy feature, just like Earl
said.
Pass it on to your friends.
