Greetings--
Not having experienced quite this sort of problem before, have you checked
what the Sharing and Security settings are for the folder? They may need to
be reset to allow list, read, execute, modify and other permissions. At
least if modify is not granted, you probably will not be 'permitted' to
delete it.
Just a thought...

Subject: [PCSOFT] Titan Backup won't delete
Hello,
Intending to make a backup of the C drive on my Toshiba Tecra laptop (WinXP
Pro; 1024Mb RAM, 40Gb HD), I downloaded the recommended Titan backup program
from Gizmo's Tech support, and set it copying the C drive.
Without thinking, I had this copied into a folder also in the C drive, which
has only one partition, imagining I could move it later.
But no - it refuses to be dragged or sent to another, external HD via USB.
Nor can I delete it; error messages pop up and say 'cannot delete ...access
is denied', nor can deleting be done in Safe Mode for the same reason. Even
System Restore will not restore to a previous date.
The backup folder is in Program Files, and when I click on it, I find the C
drive and appear to be attempting to use the one in the backup folder to
delete itself.
Is there any way out of this dilemma?
Thanks,
Ron
