It will stay that size when you open it again ONLY if you got to "File"
"Close". It  won't work if you just hit the "x" in the upper right hand
corner, that is the same as "cancel". A quick way to close a window, but not
to save what you have just done.

Hi Kathie

If you move the window to the top left and than move your mouse to the
bottom right corner until the pointer turns to a double ended arrow, you can
resize the window. (by dragging it) It will stay that size when you open it
again.
