It seems to me that the easiest way to "Import" mail from Outlook Express is
to *open* whatever messages you want to save in whatever drive, then *save*
them in a directory(folder) you create (i.e. C:\+EMAIL). The messages are
saved as "youspecifythemessagename.eml" along with attachments. You can go
to Windows Explorer to open them, and they will be displayed in e-mail
format, so you can manipulate the message in whatever way you desire, as if
it just popped into your Inbox. If you need to transfer the messages to
another drive, just move the directory(folder).

I have been successfully using this method since Outlook Express was
introduced, with no problemos.

Also, I use the former "Inbox Assistant," now "Tools |Message Rules | Mail"
with OE5, extensively to distribute regularly incoming messages to separate
files in the Inbox. It keeps my Inbox relatively free of clutter, and
segregates the *Read Now - Bloody-Guts Emergency* messages from the *When I
Feel Like Reading It* messages.
