forgive me if someone has answered this question.  Since, I do use MSN
messager program, I have had a chance to explore this problem.  If you go
into the tools menum select options.  Select the perferances tab and uncheck
"run this program when windows starts."  that should keep MSN Messanger from
launching at start up.
