To All Concerned:

My problem is driving me crazy since I am wasting paper galore.

Here is the procedure:

Hit tools
Hit customize. customize comes up and you have a
Toolbar tab. If you proceed down the list, you will come to
Menu Bar. On this list, point to Menu Bar item, click and have a check
mark beside the Menu Bar name. Click again and it will NOT disappear.
However, when I click Drawing on the Customize List again have a check
mark, click again, and it WILL disappear. Also found with the Menu Bar that
sometime a tiny bell will ring. It did not do it today but has in the past.
No, I am not hearing bells!!!

I first noticed this problem when I started receiving an ID list with every
sheet of paper printed.
The ID sheet starts out with:

 File name:
 Directory:
 Template
Then we have a line:
 Data\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dot
 Title:
 Subject:
 Author:
 Key Word:
 Comments:

It continues for another ten lines. In total, it is 19 lines for the entire
ID.

I have no idea how it got there. I would say guilty except I do not "go
there" unless there is a problem. I am not the type of person who "plays"
with the computer. I earn my living with this machine and it is not treated
like a toy.

Is there someone who can help me? Your anticipated help is greatly
appreciated.

Sincerely,

Christine Smith
