Hi Trish,

In Windows XP the Taskbar is locked by default. Right click the Start button 
and select Properties \ Taskbar tab and uncheck the option "Lock the 
taskbar". Now you will be able to adjust the Taskbar as well as add as many 
shortcuts (program, Internet, etc.) as you like.

While in Taskbar and Start Menu Properties, you may want to make other 
changes. For example, you can choose to use the "Classic Start menu" if you 
prefer one that is similar to the one you used in Windows 98SE.

Hi

I have just moved from Win98SE to XP Pro. How does one get the Quick Launch
toolbar to show more than 3 icons? I used to in Win98 be able to move the
double arrow along the main taskbar and it would automatically set to show
as many icons as I chose.
