My question is how can I prepare such a file? I have Windows98,
Adobe Reader V4, and Photoshop5.
I had posted this question before, but the reply I got was not
sufficently clear to me.

You must purchase Adobe Acrobat (not the reader, the reader is free).
Acrobat installs a printer driver (or several, depending on how you set it
up) that you print to and it automatically "distills" you print job into a
.pdf file. CorelDraw 8-9 and Adobe Illustrator 8 (possibly older versions
as well) can also create .pdf's but are both rather limited when compared to
Acrobat's ability to create a .pdf from ANY printable medium.

Hope this helps,

Brad in Tulsa
