You can change the sound that is played by going to Control Panel and open
up the Sound settings. Then chose the one you want to use for Windows
Startup. You will need to come up with the sound file you want to use.

Is there a way of extending/lengthining the startup sound in xp pro?
It seems only to play for a couple of seconds than stops.
I want it to play for maybe 30-60 seconds.
