Better yet... Restart computer  pressing F8 after the memory check until
you get the startup menu... then select #3 Safe Mode. Using the End Task
method takes a long time, and gets confusing waiting for the "Program Not
Responding" message (15 seconds per)... only to have something crash on you
and have to restart and do it all again. Once Scan Disk and Defrag are
done... just restart the computer to get back into normal mode.
