Al,
I have Quicktime on my machine. I am able to start it when I wish, but it does not start unless called for. I use Mike Lin's two Startup utilities. I've used them for a long time with 98 and XP. They are simple and effective.

He has some other utilities which I haven't tried.

Subject: [PCSOFT] QuickTime persistence
Hey all,
Against my better judgement I've once again installed QuickTime. However, I don't want it starting with windows,
but it keeps re-enabling itself on the 'startup' tab in the 'system configuration utility'.
Anyone know how to prevent this in Windows ME ?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
