 First, you should to do the clean reinstall. All working data have to
 be saved on another HDD.
 Second, use Midnight Commander in the text mode and see  is there
 (/bin/ps) any executables with "ps" name. If there are no then try to
 find it from install CD. In the XWindow mode there are many file com
 shells to do this work.
