  In general, programs on the start menu are listed in alphabetical order,
folders before files.

  So -- to change the order, rename some things, or put them inside folders.

  One approach that can work is to *number* items according to the order
you'd like them to appear in:  "1 - My Favourite App", "2 - A really good
game", and so on.  (Note that you'll need to add leading spaces or zeros if
you want 10 or more items -- or start adding decimal places....)
