A customer's previous computer was running W98 and Office 97, including Access.

I built her a new machine with XP Pro and Office 2000, including Access, and shifted all her old files across to the new machine.

On her new machine, the .docs read OK, as they usually do, but the first time she ran Access 2000 and tried to open one of the old Access 97 files she got this message:

'The current user account doesn't have permission to convert or enable this database.
To convert or enable this database, ensure the following:

*You must join the workgroup that defines the user accounts used to access the database.
*Your user account must have Open\Run and Open Exclusive permissions for the database object.
*Your user account must have Modify Design or Administer permissions for all tables in the database, or it must be the owner of all tables in the database.
*Your user accounts must have Read Design permission for all objects in the database.
*Request that other users close the database.

Could someone please tell me what's going on here?
