With Office 95, I run setup.exe on the office95 cd.  I am then offered a
menu of selections for removal and/or editing of the office95 setup.  This
had allowed me to remove unused apps and keep Word and Excel on my hd as
these are the only apps I use at this time.

Hope this works the same with office97.
