I am putting a database application together and am wanting to automate
repairing and compacting it. However, I haven't come up with a way. You do
not have to close a database in order to do these things but whenever I try
to write a macro it tells me that the database is open. I've searched the
Microsoft Knowledge Base but their answer requires a separate database.
Has anyone accomplished this? I'm too frustrated to search anymore.
