  I use Pinnacle Studio 9.  (9 SE came with my camera; I took advantage of
upgrade offers to 9 and then to 9 Plus.)  Generally, the issues I've run
into have been pretty minor, and other than it being a bit cumbersome, I
wouldn't expect them to cause any problem with what you are trying to do.
  (I have occasionally seen glitches in the playback within the program, but
the output files played separately without any problem.)
