Just a regular windows explorer copy or move.
Text, graphic and mp3 files.
Most of the files on the network drive are fine, just the ones that I copied or moved within the last few weeks.
BTW, it's a Buffalo NAS 2T systems.
No changes in firewall or router settings.
XP Pro.
Any way to determine which files are corrupted (empty file) without opening each and every file?

I think the experts will need a lot more info. It sounds like the shell of the files are being copied, but not the contents.
1. What method are you using to copy? Try some other methods. Can you for example burn the files to CD, then copy them off the CD direct to the network? That may help isolate the cause of the problem and would rule out
5 below.
2. What type of files?
3. Does this happen to all files types, eg .txt or .jpg files, or just some?
4. Has it been OK previously, or always been this way?
5. Is there any security software, firewall or router that might block transfers of certain files between networks?
6. Which OS?
