Hi,
Can anyone help me?  Every time I go to Display Properties and make any
changes to my desktop colors or schemes or any other settings and go to
apply them my system freezes and I have to use Ctrl-Alt-Del to get the close
program box and find that the Display Properties is not responding and then
 I can close it.  This also happens when I try to change themes using the
program "Desktop Themes", sometimes part of the theme will get installed
like
the pointers and maybe the desktop wallpaper but it always freezes up.
Then I always have to reboot because none of the icons in my system tray
will work including the start menu.
I am running Win95a,IE 4.01 with a Cyrix 200mmx, 32meg ram and I have
plenty of harddrive space.  Can I reinstall Win95a over the top of this
set-up
and if I do will it fix my problems and not change any of my present
settings?
