Mark,
My experience with FDISK, shows that when there is a duel boot where 98 is on a FAT32 partition and windows NT or Windows 2000 on a NTFS partiton, you will get a 5th choice (Delete non DOS partition).....This will allow you to delete the NTFS partion and then it can be re-formatted as FAT16 or FAT32.

So I take it you see a FAT or FAT32 C:> Primary Active partition. The C
drive is the only drive you see in Windows 98 and you do not see a Winnt
folder.

In that case, NT4 is installed on a NTFS partition which makes things easy.
FDISK can not see the NTFS partition. In order to recover the hard drive
space without trashing everything you are going to need Partition Magic, or
another disk utility like it.

First delete the three files, and sys the C:> drive, as I described in my
previous post. Then use Partition Magic to delete the NTFS partition, and
add the new free space to the C drive.

NT4 is now completely removed.
