You may need to update the video drivers for XP within the virtual machine, NOT Windows 7. However, some games may require hardware that is NOT emulated within the Virtual PC machine. To install new drivers in the VM, start Virtual PC XP mode and install drivers as you would otherwise but keeping the commands within the VM. Good luck.

I am trying to run some games installed in my windows XP mode but after install they won't run because it says the video card drivers do not support etc etc and one says no 3 D accelerator found.  I'm afraid to update drivers because under the windows 7 everything is fine.  Will it mess up drivers under win 7 to update them in win XP mode?
