Don't clean the recycle bin, Maybe your lost files are still in there...

Dell says you have a Hardware problem:
02B0:Diskette drive A error A connector may be loose or the diskette may be faulty.

I agree with that since changing hard drives "should" have reverted you
to the old OS and and gotten rid of the message if it was "ONLY" software related.
I'm still looking...
I still think you have other problems, more than just this one...

  Hello Listers:
After reading all the positive things about a program "Reg Cleaner" I tried it out, cleaned registry, rebooted OK, cleaned unnecessary files, rebooted, OK,

deleted some duplicate files, rebooted, problems start,

Upon restarting, the computer goes to the screen that list's all of the specifications, Bios, ram etc, of the computer.

In that list I get an "02B0 Diskette Drive A error", Press Esc to resume, After pressing, Esc I get an "Invalid system disk" Replace Disk and then any key.

I happened to have my old hard drive which was functioning when I replaced it, installed it and rebooted I still get the same screen, except when I press any key the computer continues to load windows which is how I am making this plea for help.

  System

  Pheonix Bios

Intel 333, 192 Megs Ram, Windows 98 SE OutLook Express 6.0

It was working OK before, I should have known better got up early and got bored!!!

  Thanks for any help
