There is a free program called move on boot. Download it, install it
and then right click on the file and choose delete on reboot.

Yes MoveOnBoot does a good job.It puts an extra tab in the Properties
dialog box.
Please note that as a single file it is no longer available except from
sites that have archived the file.
The original MoveOnBoot that most people used was v1.9.5 and is from
GibinSoft now Gibin Software House
The file is no longer listed separately but is part of a file utility
set http://www.gibinsoft.net/gipoutils/fileutil/index.htm
It looks like the utilities are now free since they don't support Vista.
You can get the single file from SoftPedia but only from the Romanian
server. The other server will give you a 404 as do many of the other
sites that still list it ,since they linked to the file at Gibinsoft.
which has changed its webpages.

Another one is EMCO Move On Boot see under http://www.emco.is/freeware.php
NOTE: MoveOnBoot requires accessing the file properties which is fine
but not for a virus - you will get constant popups from your anti-virus
program.
KillBox on the other hand will mark the file for deletion and then
remove it on a reboot.
There are many other free utilities like that.
You anti-malware or anti-virus should do the same after a scan and reboot.
