Hi Carol

I'm sorry your having problems with Avast. I run it on five desktops and two
laptops on my home network and it runs flawless for me. The only time I've
had a problem is when I didn't completely remove Norton Antivirus first. I
used RegSeeker to find and remove every thing with Norton and Symantec out
of the registry and reinstalled Avast, it worked fine.

Do you have a weblink for RegSeeker?  I couldn't find it.    It will specifically FIND all of the Norton references for you?    --AnnaSummers
