1)-Edit|Preferences|Mail and Newsgroups|Mail Server|Edit, check the
"Save Password" box.
2)-These can be caused by web virus checkers, so-called
"web-accelerators","crash catchers" (these are particularly offensive,
in my opinion, try disabling them). It also can depend on what you're
doing at the time, reading or sending mail, reading newsgroups or
browsing. Specific info might help find a cause. You can check out
http://help.netscape.com/kb/client/index.html which is the Netscape
"Client Articles" database. I would suggest upgrading to Winsock 2,
but since you are running WIN98, you don't need that, but it might help
others.
3)-This is a feature that automatically reports crash info to Netscape.
This can be enabled if you have disabled it by going to Program
Files|Netscape|Communicator|Program|talkback.exe|Settings and check
"Turn Agent on". (Note-some people think this might actually be the
cause of some crashses, the final decision is yours).
4)-Edit|Preferences|Navigtor and set your "History" expire time, you can
then check visited URL's.
