I don't know what this program does, but it seems to have appeared on my
system when I installed the drivers for a USB scanner. There appears to be
related program called STICLI that I have noticed running sometimes. I
didn't notice this one until after I installed drivers for a digital camera
that downloads images through the serial port. If anyone knows the details
of what these programs do, I'd like to hear about them too.
