You likely share my annoyance at the forced x10 ads that are everywhere.

Check out Zeroclick, a freeware program that is mainly intended to block out
forced "doubleclick" ad sites but you can edit the hosts program and add
ads.x10.com
and
x10.com
following the format shown and you will never see them again.

You can go through your cookies and look for ads.whatever.com
URLs and add those to the hosts list that is banned on your computer.
