McAfee came loaded on my notebook, and I added Norton AV. Now I have both listed in my startup folder.

Is it safe to uncheck all the McAfee boxes to save memory? Is there any advantage to keeping both?

Most antivirus programs strongly suggest you do not run two AV programs on one machine. Doing so can cause
conflicts between them. If you prefer Norton, I would recommend you remove McAfee altogether. If another
lister is running two AV programs, perhaps he or she can share problems or benefits from their experience. hth
