After removing a problem Windows 98 which has been giving me a lot of
headaches, I reinstalled a clean copy which is functioning nicely except for
a problem with the power management. So far I have not been able to stop
Windows from going on standby when left idle for a short while. Power scheme
is set to Home/Office Desk with System Standby NEVER and Turn Off Hard Disk
NEVER. This does not seem to be working. Where else can I find a way to keep
the system running without shutting down? This has never happened before
with any previous installations. Maybe a list member can offer a solution.
