Alex,

Open any folder (My Computer, for example) and click on the View menu. One
of the menu options is View as Web Page. This should have a check mark next
to it. If not, click on it and your folder should display the previews and
other information of the left pane as before. You may need to also go to
View, Folder Options and click on the View tab. In it, there is an option
for all your folders to display like the current folder, so you do not need
to repeat the process for every folder on your hard drive.
