Hi Jeff
I don't recall seeing an answer to your question on the list...so for what
it's worth, here's some information.
Open "Taskmanager" (C:\WINNT\system32\taskmgr.exe) to see what programs
and services are running.
Go to "Computer Management" (Winnt\system32\compmgmt.msc), then "Services
and Applications", "Services", for a full list of services (descriptions
of the services that are or are not running) and to stop them or prevent
them from running automatically.
Check the following links to see which services (that Win2K or another
program starts by default) can be safely disabled:
