I spent six months trying to get decent looking cards out of
both Word and WordPerfect.  I finally gave up and bought
a $19.95 program called (obviously) Business Cards v 1.0.

It works great!  I bought it at Staples several years ago.

It has six pre-built card formats or you can start with a
blank card.  You can put words and graphics anywhere you want
on the card and prints to standard Avery sheet feed cards.

The install diskette is labeled as CompuWorks (A WindowsWare Co.)
but the help screen lists the company as WindowsWare, Inc.
