Jagpal,

First, insure you placed the update file in the following folder: Program
Files \ Grisoft \ AVG6 \ UPDATE. Restarting the computer in itself won't
cause AVG to recognize and install the update. Right click the AVG icon in
the System Tray and select "Run AVG Anti-Virus". AVG will then recognize
install the update.

I have Downloaded the latest update file, ie, u603l128 and placed the file
in the main AVG file. But when I restart my computer, it still shows the
old version 6.0.538.
Can someone please advise me how to update AVG .
