Dave,
Assuming the partition you're planning to reformat is C: , your address book
*.WAB is located in C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book and
your favorites are located in C:\Windows\Favorites.
Simply copy the files to one of your other partitions and, "just in
case...", I'd suggest making copies of these files to external media, too (a
floppy or two should do the trick).

Subject: [PCSOFT] Backup Address book and Favorites in OE
I'm looking for some help in backing up my address book and favorites list
before I reformat my hard drive. I have Outlook Express 5.5 and Internet
Explorer 5.5. I have a 6.4 G hard drive broken down into 3 separate 2 gig
hard drives. I think I can just copy these file from my C: drive over to
either the D: or E: drive and then copy them back over after reformatting
and reloading the OS. My problem is I don't know the file names I'm looking
for or where they are located.
