Once you have used the existing scanner software to save the image
you created, you can use Paint Shop Pro v5 to convert it to any
of the popular formats, such as JPG or GIF. You can download the
shareware version of this program at: http://www.jasc.com
Paint Shop Pro is nearly as powerful as the costly Adobe Photoshop
and easier to use if you are unaccustomed to high-end graphics packages.
As far as a program to create cards, calanders and such... I can recommend
Print Shop Premier Publishing Suite. My family uses this program all the
time to create all sorts of cards and such. http://www.broder.com/
