Ditto this Chuck. I am in my second semester of C++ programming. I have
had one semester of Visual Basic and self taught Visual Basic for Apps. C++
is much tougher as it does not give you the instant feedback for your code
that Visual Basic does, and it is not as much of a natural language
programming enviornment.

If you have never done any programming, and are not familiar with repetition
structures, or selection structures, or other programming techniques, a
beginer programming course using C++ is a tough way to learn. It is hard
enough to learn the concepts of programming without having to fight a not so
user friendly software package to boot. [no pun intended] :>)
